The new 12 Disciples short film Tuned In written and directed by m & s Marshall Productions co-owner Matthew Marshall has started post production at the Productionmark editing facility. The majority of the film’s scenes were edited on the first day with just the last scene, the opening sequence and closing credits to do from the visual aspect of the production. But audio mixing, sound folly, colour correction and music also remain as well as transitions and some effects. Marshall says it is looking good but still has a lot of work to be done. The film is about Emma 9Marley Cabral), a teenager who disobeys dinner table rules of her parents (played by Corina Leatherdale and Jamie Rainbird) by having her cell phone at the table, gets grounded until she learns to get her priorities straight and learns the value of relationships. The story will make you think twice when you touch your phone. It’s a great ice breaker if you want to bring the device dependency issue to the table… and, the moral of the story is just breathtaking.
Once post production of the the Christian short film is complete, it will be entered into film festivals and will also be a part of the 12 Disciples film program. Information about the film program can be found at www.12disciples.ca
Marshall encourages people to make sure they “Stay Tuned” for the release and for them to “tune in” to the right station to find out more about the film!
