Matthew Marshall is an award winning director and playwright, who has over twenty five years in the video production and theatre industry. As Production Manager show credits included; “Steel Magnolias”; “Marriage is Murder”, “Familiar Circles”; “Noel & Gertie”; “Forever Plaid”; “Long Weekend”; “Hank & Pasty”; “Driving Miss Daisy”; “Fingers & Toes” and “Deluxe Illustrated Body”.Marshall’s  2014 Christian drama Daughter of the King won 32awards, has had 16 official Selections, 3 official nominations and 1 Official Finalist Award at Film Festivals around the world.  Marshall personally has won four directors awards including; Accolade Global Competition Film Award of Merit: Director,  IndieFest Film Award of Merit: Director,  Depth of Field International Film Festival Award of Merit: Director, and International Independent Film Festival Silver Award: Directing.Marshall is co-owner of his own production / Film company m & s Marshall Productions and is a co-founder of the 12 Disciples Film Program.

Marshall’s  2016 Short film Tuned In has won 22 Awards, 14 Official Selections, has 3 Official Nominations and 1 Finalist Award at Festivals around the world. His 2014 Christian drama Daughter of the King  has won 32 awards, has had 16 Official Selections, 3 Official Nominations and an Official Finalist Award at Film Festivals.  Marshall personally has won ten directors awards to date on his films. In 2009 Marshall won a Christian Dramatic Award for “Best Director” of Meaning of Christmas. The Production also won a 2009 Christian Dramatic Award for “Best Production”. His script  Walk to the Cross won the 2010 Canadian Script Writers Award for Best Script. Matthew’s production of Choices won the 2008 Canadian Independent Production Award for Best Production.

 When Matthew is not working on a production he fills his time writing scripts for both short and feature length formats. Matthew wrote his first official feature length script Imprisoned Without Choice in 1996. From that point he has not stopped writing scripts. Matt has completed over thirty feature length scripts and over twenty Five short length scripts with many others in the works.
