KATIE LEWIS – “Elizabeth Chapman”

Katie has a wide range of talents in various forms of the arts. Theatre experience includes being a part of a production called “Pizzeria“. She performed as part of a segment on work place safety on “Breakfast Television“. Katie is also a very talented singer and musician. Katie is an active participant in Church and School Choir. She plays the piano, guitar, flute and snare drums. Currently she is part of a band named “Juhlissia” with talented local artist Kyle Reigger and Michale Grey. Katie has studied music under famous artists Hubert Johnson, original member of the contours and also under vocal coach Tworin Childs a professional at Western University. One of her highlights in singing includes singing at the Elephant and Castle. She has sung backup for local country singer Judy Vaughn and sung the national anthem for the Blue Jays. She won most professional award while participating in Beal Idol. She has sung for FM96 London’s Got Talent. Katie has done modelling including being in the official John Labatt Centre Photograph taken by Brian Hillier. She studied cosmetology while attending the prestigious Beal Art Program; Litho, life drawing, print making, painting, textiles, art history, graphic design, 3Dart, pottery film study and animation. She speaks 3 languages including English, French and Spanish. She is versed in five types of dance including tap, hip-hop, ballet, jazz and modern. She completed her long time dream of hosting an art gallery with 2 years of great success. Design Out of the Box now lives on through commissioned pieces and various venues. Katie is a writer of lyrics, poems and short stories. She wrote “6 people 1 drink” published by Overrivers and Hills.

BENJAMIN DYCK – “Brandon”

Benjamin Dyck was born in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. He has travelled extensively across North America and Australia. His musical and theological studies have taken him to Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and TheBible Missionary Institute in Rock Island, Illinios. A singer/songwriter writing gospel, and easy listening Jazz/Country ballads, he is working on his debut album with several musicians in London Ontario.

CORINNA MAY – “Nicole Layton”

Corinna is a very talented actress. She caught the acting bug early on in life and grew up acting out scenes from her favourite childhood movies. In high school her love for the performing arts grew. She has graduated from a Concordia College course for Theatre Arts.  Past theatre credits include: Blanche in “A Street Car Named Desire“, Vladimir in “Waiting for Godot“, Lucy in “Pink“, Sandy Abel in “Psychosis“, Mistress Dill in “Heroery” and Helen Saville in “The Vortex“. Corinna starred as Tabitha in Michael Tanton’s short film “The Pass“. She has played the puppet role of Kimmie in a number of short skits on the DVD “Come Into The Light” for Puppet Ministry at  Almanarah Presbyterian Church, London. Corinna has also appeared in other various short films and music videos. Along with acting she has worked behind the scenes as well as Assistant Stage Manager for Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School’s production of “Oliver!” and as Director for “I Am Yours“.  She hopes to perfect the craft of acting and rise to the top of her profession. Corinna dedicated her performance of Nicole in The Great Banquet to her mom. She thanks Matthew Marshall for giving her this amazing opportunity to have worked on a professional production and allowing her to have played the role of Nicole Layton.

EMMA DAVEY – “Victoria”

Emma is a British-Canadian actress who has lived in Alberta, Qatar, North Yorkshire, and moved to London, Ontario last Spring. She loves the fine arts, especially acting, sketching, and singing. Her previous acting experience includes roles as Amber Grim in “The Immortals“, and Jan & Mrs. Lynch in “Grease: the Musical“. Emma has also been a part of various vignettes, school projects and skits. She is delighted to perform in an independently written and produced play.

BRYCE JONES – “Alfred”

This is Bryce Jones’ third role under the direction of Matthew Marshall and m & s Marshall Productions. Previously he has played “Jr. Officer # 2” for Walk To The Cross and “Alfred” the second servant in The Great Banquet. Past acting credits included a shepherd in “The Christmas Story“, Isaiah the Narrator in “Journey to Bethlehem”, “Teacher” in  “It’s Only Words” and Reader 5 in “Hosanna!”.

JOHN B. HOWIE – “Officer Harrington”

John’s interest in the entertainment industry began while he was active in the Scouting movement. He was a part of the “Gang Show” which was wrote, cast, directed and produced by Mr. John Hall. An all male cast that came from cubs, scouts and leaders. John then joined the militia, then the regular forces and became a piper for the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment, going on to play with the Air Command Pipes and Drums and later as the Pipe Major of CFB Borden Pipes and Drums, he played in 17 productions of the (Royal) Nova Scotia Tattoo, The Edinburgh Tattoo and others. While teaching in South Korea, John played a FAA inspector in a movie which lead him to the role of Mr. Roseman in a series called “Fire Bird” that became the #1 drama of the year. John went on to play in two more dramas in the series and four Korean movies, “Monopoly“, “Typhoon“, “Host“, and “Welcome to Dong Mak Gul“. John is registered Canadian Talent with Carolyn’s Talent Agency in Toronto. He has worked on two movie projects recently, yet to be released.

STEPHANIE KLASSEN – “Julia”

Stephanie Klassen has been a part of three different productions with m & s Marshall Productions as both cast and crew. She has worked as Stage Manager, Hair and Make Up for the remount of Meaning of Christmas. As well she played the lead role “Kristan” for one of the show during that stage run of the remount. For the production of Addictions, she played the role of “Michelle Lambert”. On the technical side of that production she was the Production Manager, Art Director and Hair and Make up. For the production of The Great Banquet she was the role of Julia, as well as the Stage Manager, Hair and Makeup for the production.  Her previous technical stage credits included hair and makeup on AVSS Dramatic productions for “The Night No One Died“, “OthNreE” and “The Sting“. Hair, Makeup, Assistant Choreographer and Stage Manger for AVSS’s “Rockin’ Through the Darkside” Musical Review, Stage Manager for AVSS’s Choir show “A Musical Spectacular“, Singer, Assistant Choreographer and Assistant Stage Manager for AVSS’s Choir show, “Just us… and the Off Broadway Singers” , Assistant Choreographer and Assistant Stage Manager for “Just Us! And the Off Broadway Singers: Are Back From Broadway“. Stephanie has been a part of AVSS choir shows including “The Road to Broadway” and “A Christmas to Believe In” as a singer.

HEIDI SHAW – “Robin & a young mother”

Heidi is talented in both singing and Acting. She enjoys every kind of music. She has taken drama at High School. Previous acting roles included two m & s Marshall Productions. Paula in Walk to the Cross as well as the roles of Robin & a young mother in The Great Banquet. Along with the arts Heidi also likes biking and soccer. She attends CECI High school and is a Christian.

STEPHANIE KLASSEN – Stage manager, Hair & Make Up

Stephanie has worked with m & s Marshall Production as Stage Manager, Hair and Make Up for the remount of Meaning of Christmas and Stage Manager, Hair and Makeup for The Great Banquet. Along with Crew Steph has done some acting with m & s Marshall productions. She performed in the remount of Meaning of Christmas as Kristan for one of the show during the stage run. She also played Julia in The Great Banquet. Her previous technical stage credits included hair and makeup on AVSS Dramatic productions for “The Night No One Died“, “OthNreE” and “The Sting“.
