The short Film Tuned In is inching closer to being finished. A major part of the story deals with the parental frustration of Emma’s mom and dad who can’t seam to get “tuned In” to their daughter’s frequency as she breaks a house rule by having her cell phone at the table during supper. That action gets the main character Emma (Marley Cabral), grounded by her parents (played by Corina Leatherdale and Jamie Rainbird) due to the infraction of having the phone at the table and not listening when she is told to put it away. Now the teenager is grounded to her room until she learns to get her priorities straight and learns the value of relationships. It’s a great ice breaker if you want to bring the device dependency issue to the table… and, the moral of the story is just breathtaking. The film is written by Matthew Marshall and made by Marshall production company m & s Marshall Productions. Marshall encourages people to make sure they “Stay Tuned” for the release and for them to “tune in” to the right station to find out more about the film!
